I completed my BA in Biological Anthropology at New York University in 2008. I then went on to conduct research at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado. After that I interned and worked for various government agencies including the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in southern Arizona and the Bureau of Land Management in Vernal, Utah. I worked for the National Park Service’s Sonoran Desert Network in Tucson, Arizona from 2010-2011 before returning to school. I completed my MS in Lara Kuepper’s lab in Environmental Systems at the University of California, Merced in 2013 and my PhD in Travis Huxman’s Lab in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Irvine in 2017. I am currently a Research Ecologist working with Sasha Reed with the U.S. Geological Survey in Moab, Utah.
